Eddy the Engine
The Bear Creek Park Train with Eddy the Engine has been delighting children and adults since it opened in 1996.

Eddy is an English mining diesel that was brought here from England. He was built by Alan Keefe in Ross on Wye and runs on a 15" gauge track. In the summer Eddy pulls his open coaches and during our special events we add covered coaches as well.
Eddy loves to take the children on the 10 minute ride through the themed tunnel display, the natural forest, beside the Bear Creek Gardens, over the bridge and back to the station. At the end of the ride the children have an opportunity to "toot" the whistle. We all enjoy the smiles on their faces as they wave goodbye to Eddy. Since Eddy is blue in color, he often reminds the children of Thomas the Tank Engine. Come out for a visit, Eddy would love to meet you!
The Bear Creek Park Train is a private business operating in the park with the permission of the City of Surrey.
